Why Maui Animal Solutions?

 It Takes a Village

We have developed this website to help Maui residents help animals. On this website you will find Maui animal care laws, examples of what a legal  animal enclosure should contain, and the kind of  activities required  to take care of an animal.

The Mayor of Maui contracts Maui Humane Society (MHS) to provide animal law enforcement services on Maui Island. Call MHS  (808) 870-3680 to report animals in need of help. The MHS head of animal law enforcement is Mark Wilson at extension 212. If you do not see relief for a suffering animal, or your are concerned about retaliation for reporting an animal in need, contact us at (808) 268-6026.

Several all-volunteer groups are providing limited animal services, such as  after-hour emergency response, low-cost spay/neuter for cats, and dog rescue. You will find contact information  for these groups at the bottom of each page.

Maui Animal Solutions is an all-volunteer group who will help you get help for individual animals. We will report the case for you, track response to the case , and provide status reports to inform government if no corrective action is taken. We will continue activity in the case until it is resolved for both you and the animal you are concerned about.
